Above All….Don’t Panic!

Hi All:

          With the main water cooler topic of the day(and EVERY day recently) being the economy, it appears the sky is falling.  Now, first of all, don’t get the idea that I am making light of the situation.  I’m not.  Many people, including myself, have a lost a lot of money in the last week and it really hurts.  One of my friends who is a laborer in a factory had 90% of his retirement wiped out in one fell swoop.

          These are serious times with serious implications—but it ain’t the end of the world!  We have gone through times like these before and survived.  Do you know that some folks are poised to make a hell of a lot of money out of this situation.  Yes, some people will do very well in a down economy.  How about you?

          I’m an advocate of the law of attraction that basically states you become what you think about.  If you are of the mindset that you’re going to lose more money and things will get horrible, guess what?  They will!  But if you turn this whole thing around in your head and say, “I’m gonna up my marketing, work a few extra hours and double my lead generation methods”, don’t you think you have a much better  chance of weathering this storm?  You bet you do.  And who knows, you may even come out ahead.

          Again, I’m not wearing rose-colored glasses but I’m having the best year financially that I’ve ever had.  And it’s not because of some mystical ritual that I’m doing or chanting an incantation.  I’ve been doing what I mentioned above.  And the results bear it out.  You can do the same.  You can achieve stellar results in this down economy.  Work a little harder and a little smarter and above all—DON’T PANIC!
